Ezra is a Los Angeles based multidisciplinary artist

In 2020 Ezra released his first single, ‘Man of my Dreams’— a love song dedicated to himself, after having the realization that he had grown up to be the man he always wished he could be. The man of his dreams. Although Ezra had little knowledge of what it would take to promote a song, or better yet begin a professional career in the music industry— it was incredibly well received, racking up over 200,000 streams on Spotify within a year of the its release. The song’s success was largely due to trans masc TikTok adopting it, using it to create heartfelt videos expressing joy and gratitude for their transitions.

Along with his music, Ezra also loves to express himself through fashion. In 2022 Ezra launched his first designer clothing brand, PUSSYBOY, a line dedicated to the empowerment of his transmasculine community, specifically targeting the folks with bottom dysphoria. He found that the more he spoke about having a pussy and owning that fact, his discomfort began to dissipate. As he spent time focusing on healing his relationship with himself, learning how to put self love into practice, and prioritizing his mental health above all, his idea for PUSSYBOY surfaced and made him laugh— it was the first time he was really able to make light of the notion of even having a pussy. It took being able to find the humor in his pain in order to find relief, and from that space he was inspired to create the PUSSYBOY brand. The “PUSSYBOY REVOLUTION” has helped him so much with his own healing, he can’t help but think it could help others too.

Ezra has been honored to show up for his community in a multitude of ways, including hosting NYC Youth Pride 2022, Trans Pride LA 2018, and performing his music at countless pride celebrations around the country. He was proudly featured as the first out trans masculine actor on Telemundo in the series “100 Dias Para Enamorarnos”, and in 2019 he graced the stage with trans royalty and Broadway star, Alexandra Billings, to duet a song with her in “I’m Still Queer: A Trans American Cabaret”, benefiting the USC acting scholarship named in her honor.

Ezra is also a gifted public speaker and community organizer after gaining the invaluable experience of working as a volunteer coordinator at the Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network (SBTAN) in his hometown of Santa Barbara, California. During his time at SBTAN, Ezra organized and facilitated a weekly transgender support group where he was able to foster a sense of safety in a city that was once a very isolating place to live in as a trans person. To this day Ezra believes that his work at SBTAN was the one of the most fulfilling positions he’s ever occupied. The average age of the support group’s attendees ranged from 18 all the way up to 73 years old. The intergenerational sharing that happened in that room was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. Up until that point in his life, Ezra hadn’t been very involved with his trans community.

He thought that once he was able to walk through life being perceived as a cisgender man, he’d never want anyone to know he was trans. This is a really common desire and trajectory for a lot of trans folks for a multitude of reasons, but for Ezra, it was only a phase. After working with his community, he had no intention of ever living his life denying his lived experience as a trans person. He found the value of owning his story, and connecting with other folks who had similar experiences to his own.

Ezra’s current life mission is to continue freeing himself from the confines of binary gender constructs, but in a hot sexy slutty way so it’s still fun. Ezra doesn’t take himself too seriously so that he can maintain focus on his priority: Experiencing as much fun as humanly possible, and being of service to the truest version of himself. Although that sounds like a lot of pressure, Ezra finds that living life any other way seems to result in so much much more effort. When Ezra is prioritizing fun, his life just seems to work so much easier, it hardly feels like work.

Speaking of work— Ezra is available for booking as a musician, content creator, panelist, motivational speaker, graphic designer, and barber.

His art is grounded in his shameless authenticity, bringing levity to even the darkest topics.
